The Automated Water Pouch Packaging Process
Film Feeding & Tension Control
A roll of food-grade LDPE film is mounted on the machine’s back reel. Dynamic tension rollers pull the film smoothly to prevent stretching or tearing, ensuring consistent pouch dimensions.
Inline UV Film Sterilization
Before the film enters the forming tube, it passes through a high-intensity UV sterilizer chamber. This step kills 99.9% of surface bacteria and pathogens without chemical residue.
Pouch Forming & Vertical Sealing
The flat film is guided over a metal forming collar, shaping it into a hollow cylinder. A vertical thermal sealing bar seals the overlapping edges of the film to form a continuous tube.
Precise Volumetric Liquid Filling
Filtered pure water is injected into the tube through a hygienic stainless steel filling pipe. A volumetric piston pump or gravity-fed valve controls the liquid volume with high accuracy.
Horizontal Sealing & Safe Cutting
A pneumatic horizontal sealing jaw seals the top of the filled sachet (which simultaneously becomes the bottom of the next sachet). An integrated blade cuts the sealed pouch, which then drops onto a discharge conveyor.
